Description

Swiss Arms SA1911 airgun is a heavy, full-size pistol replica made almost entirely of metal. It fires 4.5 mm steel BB pellets , providing high kinetic energy and a realistic shot pattern. The magazine holds 18 BBs and a 12-gram CO2 cartridge , which serves as the weapon's primary power source.

The replica operates in single Action (first shot cocked manually). Authentic Swiss Arms markings , referring to the Swiss firearms manufacturer, are applied to the receiver.

The trigger mechanism is locked—as in the original— by a winged trigger lock that cannot be pulled without pressing the grip safety , which is only possible when the pistol is positioned correctly in the hand. In keeping with the standard established after the introduction of the M1911A1, the grip safety spur is extended and protects the back of the hand from striking the slide as it moves rearward. This mechanism operates identically to the original.

The replica features a blow-back system , which forces the bolt to the rear after each shot. Returning to its initial position injects the pellet into the chamber. The bolt stops in the rear position when the magazine is empty – it is released by pressing the appropriate lever. The pellet reaches a muzzle velocity of up to 100 m/s .

The grip panels are contoured and covered with a non-slip texture , significantly improving control over the pistol.

Aiming is made easier by fixed iron sights – a classic front and rear sight.
